Pokemon Afterschool Program

Pokemon Afterschool Program

Playing the Pokemon card game benefits a child’s social, math, reading skills, logic and strategic thinking. And it’s fun!

We are proud to have official Pokemon Judge Tim Vigil to facilitate this program. Professor Tim has attended multiple Pokemon Regional Championships, including in Dallas, Seattle and San Diego, and he is close to ranking high enough to qualify for the World’s Championship. Tim will teach basic skills to new players and enhance strategies and deck building for advanced students.

All students will be provided $20+ worth of cards to build their own deck. At the end of the 4-week program, kids will participate in a swiss-style tournament and receive different awards and prizes throughout, including the latest Pokemon booster packs. Face-to-face interactions with peers, good sportsmanship and camaraderie are additional benefits of this program. Participants will also gain free entry to any Pokemon League events hosted during the program.
